Why choose Cambria

Cambria is the premium American-made quartz that other quartz brands measure against. Here’s why H&E customers choose it for their highest-end residential and commercial projects.

160+ designs across the Cambria portfolio

Cambria's catalog includes every aesthetic from minimalist white quartz to bold black, soft cream marbled, and stone-and-mineral inspired patterns. We help you narrow the selection based on your cabinetry, lighting, and how you actually use the space.

Maintenance-free and non-porous

Cambria never needs sealing, conditioning, or re-polishing. Spilled wine, lemon juice, oil, and turmeric wipe away without staining. The non-porous surface also resists bacteria — Cambria is NSF International certified for safe food preparation.

NSF International certified

Cambria meets NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for food contact, the same standard required for commercial kitchen surfaces. Safe for direct food preparation without a separate cutting board layer.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every Cambria slab is backed by a transferable Lifetime Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects when professionally installed. We register your warranty as part of every Cambria install at H&E.

Made in the USA

Cambria is manufactured at the company's facility in Le Sueur, Minnesota — not imported. Domestic production means tighter quality control, faster restocking, and protection from Port of Houston shipping delays during hurricane season (June–November).

Authorized Partner exclusive

Cambria is only sold through authorized partners — you won't find it at Home Depot, Lowe's, or Floor & Decor. That keeps pricing consistent and ensures installs are performed by trained fabricators with manufacturer support.

Featured Cambria collections

Five of Cambria’s most popular designs at H&E. The Cambria catalog includes 160+ designs — these are the ones Houston customers ask for most often. Walk the showroom to see real slabs in natural light before you commit.

Brittanicca

Soft white with flowing grey movement

Best for

Kitchens, islands, waterfall ends, bathroom vanities

Why H&E customers choose it

Cambria's most-requested design in Houston. Reads as a Carrara marble alternative without the staining risk — water rings, lemon juice, and oil don't etch quartz the way they etch real marble.

Ella

Cream base with rich brown and slate veining

Best for

Traditional kitchens, island fronts, accent walls, fireplace surrounds

Why H&E customers choose it

Pairs cleanly with walnut, white oak, and warm-painted cabinetry. The vein motion is bold enough to read as a feature, contained enough not to compete with cabinetry.

Iron

Charcoal black with bright white movement

Best for

Bar tops, kitchen islands, butler's pantries, statement vanities

Why H&E customers choose it

High-contrast Cambria slab for projects that want a dramatic dark countertop without the sealing and maintenance demands of soapstone or honed black granite.

Portrush

Warm taupe with golden-brown drift veining

Best for

Open-plan kitchens, large islands, custom bar tops

Why H&E customers choose it

Reads as a polished travertine or warm marble alternative. Compliments brass hardware and stained walnut cabinetry — a popular pick for Memorial and Spring Branch new-builds.

Blackbrook

Deep black with subtle white veining

Best for

Bathroom vanities, secondary kitchens, bar tops, fireplace surrounds

Why H&E customers choose it

A quieter dark option than Iron — the white veining is restrained, giving you depth without the bold contrast. Pairs especially well with white shaker cabinets.

Cambria FAQs

Cambria's Authorized Partner agreement requires pricing be confirmed at consultation, not posted publicly. This protects consistent pricing across partners and ensures you're quoted on the exact design and edge profile your project needs. Walk in to the showroom at 11768 Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77043 or call (832) 569-8899 — we'll give you a full quote within 24 hours of seeing your dimensions.
Cambria sits at the premium end of the quartz market. For Houston kitchens, expect roughly $80–$140 per square foot installed depending on the design — entry colors like Whitney start lower; designs with strong movement like Brittanicca, Ella, and Portrush trend higher. The cost premium reflects the made-in-USA production, NSF certification, lifetime warranty, and the lifetime maintenance-free finish (no sealing or polishing every year).
Cambria is a single-source manufacturer with their own quartz formula, color development, and warranty registration system. Most other quartz countertops are blended from multiple imported sources. Practically, you get tighter design consistency batch-to-batch, a longer transferable warranty, and faster restocking when you need an extra slab months after install.
Absolutely. Seeing a full-size Cambria slab in your kitchen's actual lighting is the best way to choose a design — a screen never reads the same. We keep display samples of the top Cambria designs on hand, and for full slabs not currently stocked we request them from Cambria's regional warehouse (typically 3–5 business days). Call (832) 569-8899 and we'll confirm what's in-house now versus what needs to be pulled for your visit.
From signed contract: 7–10 business days for stocked designs, 2–3 weeks for less common designs that ship from Cambria's Minnesota facility. Template is typically 24–48 hours after cabinets are set; fabrication 2–4 days; install 1 day for most kitchens. We use our own CNC precision-cutting and edge-finishing equipment at the Spring Branch shop — no outside fabricator delays.
Yes — Cambria's NSF certification and durability profile make it a strong fit for hospitality, retail, multi-family, and tenant improvement work. We handle large-volume commercial Cambria installs across the Houston metro, including bar tops, hotel vanity tops, and restaurant prep surfaces.
All standard edge profiles — eased, bullnose, ogee, dupont, half-round, and mitered (for waterfall edges and apron-front islands). We CNC-cut every edge in-house so unusual profiles or matched mitered waterfall edges aren't extra-cost factory work.
