Before you arrive, our team pulls 6–10 slabs that fit your style and budget from our 50+ slab yard. They're tagged with your name and waiting at the front of the warehouse.

3 · 30-minute private walkthrough

A sales rep walks you through each slab in natural light, talks edge profiles, and answers fabrication questions. No pressure — we want you to leave knowing exactly which slab is the one.

4 · Lock the slab (or come back Saturday)

Found one? We tag it with your name and schedule your in-home template within 48 hours. Not ready? No problem — Saturday blowout pricing applies if you decide later.

About visiting the H&E showroom

A booked private walkthrough at our Clay Road showroom in Houston, TX runs 30 to 45 minutes. We use that time to walk you through 6–10 slabs we've pre-staged for your project, talk through edge profiles and fabrication timing, and answer financing questions. Walk-in visits without a booking can take 1.5 to 2 hours because slabs aren't pre-staged.
No appointment is required — walk-ins are welcome during showroom hours (Mon–Sat 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) at 11768 Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77043. But booking a 30-minute slot in advance lets us pre-stage slabs that match your project, which typically cuts the visit from 2 hours to 30 minutes and lifts our customers' close rate.
Bring approximate dimensions of your countertop area (a phone photo with a tape measure works), a photo of your cabinet finish and floor, and your approximate budget range. If you're choosing Cambria or premium quartz, also bring a photo of your kitchen lighting — natural light, warm bulb, or cool bulb changes how stone reads, and we'll match the showroom lighting to yours during the walkthrough.
Yes. Our Houston showroom is open Saturdays 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM for our weekly Saturday Slab Blowout — factory-direct pricing on hand-selected slabs at up to 50% off, plus 30 days of free warehouse storage. Saturdays are walk-in only, no booking needed.
Our Houston showroom, slab yard, and in-house fabrication shop are all at 11768 Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77043. We serve Spring Branch, Memorial, Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Cypress, Pearland, and Houston proper. Parking is on-site directly in front of the showroom. Showroom hours are Monday–Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, closed Sunday.
Yes — H & E Building Material Corp is an Authorized Cambria Partner. We carry display samples of the most-requested Cambria designs at our Clay Road showroom and can pull full-size slabs from Cambria's regional warehouse within 3–5 business days for in-person review. Book a Cambria-focused visit using this form and select 'Stone countertop fabrication' with 'Cambria' in the notes.
