Book a 30-minute private slab walkthrough

Tell us about your project below and we’ll pre-stage 6 to 10 slabs that match your style + budget before you arrive. The difference between a booked visit and a walk-in: 30 minutes versus 2 hours, and slabs already pulled for you instead of you wandering the yard.

Reserve your slab walkthrough

We’ll text or call within 4 hours during business hours (Mon–Fri 8 AM – 5 PM) to confirm your time slot.

Mention budget range, approx countertop sq ft, your cabinet finish, and your preferred day/time. The more specific you are, the better the slabs we pull.

By submitting, you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy. Or call (832) 569-8899 (backup: (281) 768-6688) — we’ll book you in 2 minutes. No spam, no list-selling.

What happens after you book

1 · Tell us what you're building

Project type, approximate budget, and your cabinet/finish style if you have it. The more we know, the more targeted the slabs we pull for you.

2 · We pre-stage slabs that match

Before you arrive, our team pulls 6–10 slabs that fit your style and budget from our 50+ slab yard. They're tagged with your name and waiting at the front of the warehouse.

3 · 30-minute private walkthrough

A sales rep walks you through each slab in natural light, talks edge profiles, and answers fabrication questions. No pressure — we want you to leave knowing exactly which slab is the one.

4 · Lock the slab (or take your time)

Found one? We tag it with your name and schedule your in-home template within 48 hours. Not ready? No problem — your shortlist stays on file and you can come back and re-walk the yard anytime.

About visiting the H&E showroom

A booked private walkthrough at our Clay Road showroom in Houston, TX runs 30 to 45 minutes. We use that time to walk you through 6–10 slabs we've pre-staged for your project, talk through edge profiles and fabrication timing, and answer financing questions. Walk-in visits without a booking can take 1.5 to 2 hours because slabs aren't pre-staged.
No appointment is required — walk-ins are welcome during showroom hours (Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) at 11768 Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77043. But booking a 30-minute slot in advance lets us pre-stage slabs that match your project, which typically cuts the visit from 2 hours to 30 minutes and lifts our customers' close rate.
Bring approximate dimensions of your countertop area (a phone photo with a tape measure works), a photo of your cabinet finish and floor, and your approximate budget range. If you're choosing Cambria or premium quartz, also bring a photo of your kitchen lighting — natural light, warm bulb, or cool bulb changes how stone reads, and we'll match the showroom lighting to yours during the walkthrough.
No — our showroom, slab yard, and fabrication shop are open Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and closed Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome during those hours; booking a slot in advance lets us pre-stage slabs that match your project before you arrive.
Our Houston showroom, slab yard, and in-house fabrication shop are all at 11768 Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77043. Yes — H & E Building Material Corp is an Authorized Cambria Partner. We carry display samples of the most-requested Cambria designs at our Clay Road showroom and can pull full-size slabs from Cambria's regional warehouse within 3–5 business days for in-person review. Book a Cambria-focused visit using this form and select 'Stone countertop fabrication' with 'Cambria' in the notes.
